AI Security
For leadership teams who know AI is already in use across the company and can't say what it touches. We help you secure how your company uses AI: the tools people adopted on their own, the data going into them, and the agents you connect to live systems.
You're likely a fit if…
AI is in use, and nobody can list where.
Personal accounts, browser extensions, and AI features added inside software you already pay for. There's no complete list.
Company data may be leaving through it.
Contracts, pricing, customer records and code pasted into tools whose data terms nobody has read.
Agents are getting access to real systems.
A vendor or a team wants to connect an agent to email, files or your ERP. Nobody has decided what it may read, change or send.
AI vendor reviews are improvised.
Each new AI product gets different questions, or none. Customer questionnaires about your own AI use get answered from memory.
What we build
Shadow AI, found and mapped
Every AI tool, account, extension and built-in AI feature in use, what data it touches and who owns it. From interviews, your sign-in and network reports, and your software list.
A use policy people follow
Approved tools, what data can go where, and what needs sign-off, written for employees and kept current as tools change.
AI Policy & Governance: A use policy people followData exposure and vendor questionnaires
Which providers process your data, under what terms and settings, and what they keep. New AI vendors answer a standard set of questions before anyone signs.
Permissions and approval steps for agents
Each agent gets its own credentials and the least access its job needs. A person approves anything that changes a record, sends a message or spends money.
AI Security & Privacy Guardrails: Permissions and approval steps for agentsPrompt-injection and misuse testing
Tests that hide instructions in emails, documents and web pages, or push an agent outside its job, to see what it does. Every finding comes with the example that triggered it.
AI Audits & Quality Reviews: Prompt-injection and misuse testingMonitoring that someone reads
Logs of what AI tools and agents did, alerts on unusual use, and a short monthly review of new tools, new access and anything that went wrong.
Scope
Included, and not
The inventory, use policy, data exposure and vendor review, agent permissions, misuse testing for the agents in scope, and a monitoring routine, documented for your security team. Not included: running your security program, penetration testing, certifications, compliance attestations or legal opinions.
What we need from you
A security or IT owner with authority to decide, your security policies and data classification, the sign-in and network reports you already have, and your AI vendor contracts.
How we handle your data
We ask for the least access the work needs and agree data handling in writing before we start. Credentials stay out of code and out of chat. The inventory names tools and teams, not individual people, unless you decide otherwise.
What drives cost
How many people, tools and AI vendors are in scope, how many agents connect to live systems, how sensitive the data is, and which security controls you already have. Assessments are fixed-fee. Builds are scoped and priced after the assessment. Advisory is a monthly retainer.
How we'd start
Start with an Assessment. Its data and systems review shows where AI already touches sensitive data, and who uses what.
Rank the risks with your security owner: data leaving the company first, then agents with access to live systems.
Close the quick gaps: approved tools, account settings, the use policy and a standard set of vendor questions.
Set permissions and approval steps for each agent, and test them against prompt injection and misuse.
Hand over the inventory, policy, tests and a monthly monitoring routine, or keep them current with us through advisory.
Common questions
What is AI security?
Protecting your business in how it uses AI: which tools are in use, what data goes into them, what AI agents can reach and do, and how you'd know if something went wrong. It extends your existing security program rather than replacing it.
What is shadow AI, and should we block it?
AI tools people use without approval, often on personal accounts. A ban often doesn't stop it; it moves to devices and accounts you can't see. An approved option with clear limits usually lowers the risk more.
Why do AI agents need different controls?
An agent acts, not just answers. It reads email, documents and web pages, and any of them can carry hidden instructions, known as prompt injection. So agents get narrow permissions, and a person approves the actions that matter.
Will this make us compliant?
It gives your security team, auditors and counsel documented controls and evidence to work from. We don't certify, attest to compliance or give legal opinions.
How long does it take?
After an Assessment, the inventory, use policy and vendor review usually size as S (1–3 weeks). Securing agents already connected to live systems is usually M (1–2 months), depending on how many there are.
