Financial Services

For leaders of community banks, credit unions, wealth management firms, specialty lenders and insurance agencies. Your people spend their days on documents, checks and notes that AI can prepare. We build it so an accountable person still signs off and every step can be shown to an examiner.

AI Adoption Check

How would you rate your company's AI adoption?

Two quick questions, then a short conversation with our AI assistant. No sign-up needed.

What we hear from financial services leaders

  • Staff are already using AI

Employees try public chatbots on customer work because nobody gave them a safe option. The usual response is a ban nobody follows, or no policy at all.

  • Paperwork grows faster than the team

Loan files, account opening, KYC refreshes and annual reviews all land on the same small operations staff. Hiring more people to read documents doesn't scale.

  • Larger institutions are moving

The largest banks and broker-dealers have dedicated AI teams. You need the same discipline in AI adoption at your size, without a department to run it.

Where AI pays off first

  • Spread and summarize loan files

An agent reads tax returns, financial statements and rent rolls, fills the spreading template your credit analysts already use, and flags what doesn't tie out. The analyst checks it and decides. What to track: time from complete file to credit memo.

Workflow Automation: Spread and summarize loan files
  • Onboarding and KYC checks

Collect documents, compare them with what the customer entered, and route the exceptions to a person. Clean files move; questionable ones get attention. What to track: days to open an account.

  • Meeting notes into the CRM

Advisor and banker notes drafted for review and filed in the CRM, with follow-ups listed. Your compliance team decides what gets captured and how it's retained. What to track: notes filed the same day.

  • Portfolio questions in plain English

Ask about deposits, delinquencies or a book of business and get the answer from live data, with the source shown so anyone can check it. What to track: report requests waiting on IT or finance.

Data Analytics: Portfolio questions in plain English
  • A policy your examiners can read

Approved tools, acceptable use, testing and record-keeping, written down with an owner for each. What to track: staff using approved tools instead of personal accounts.

What's different about financial services

  • Supervision and record-keeping

Broker-dealers and investment advisers answer to FINRA and the SEC for how client communications are supervised and kept. A message drafted by AI is still a communication. We design so the right person reviews what goes out and your archive captures it.

  • Models and decisions someone can explain

Examiners expect you to know how the models you rely on work, how they were tested and who watches them, and credit decisions need specific reasons. We keep AI on the preparation side and leave the decision with your underwriters. Each build comes with a record of its data sources, its tests and the person accountable for it.

  • AI security for customer data

Nonpublic customer information goes only to vendors your contracts and information security program already cover, with access logged. We review each provider's data terms with you before any customer information is involved.

How we'd start

  1. Interview leadership, compliance and risk first, so guardrails come before use cases.

  2. Map the daily work in lending, operations, service and advisory roles.

  3. Review your core, loan origination, CRM and document systems, and what data can safely leave them.

  4. Size and rank every opportunity, and start with a build your compliance team has reviewed.

FAQ

Common questions

Can we use AI without trouble from our examiners?

What examiners and auditors look for is control: what each tool does, how it was tested, and who reviews its output. We help you document those answers. Your compliance team owns the relationship.

Will customer data be used to train a model?

We recommend providers and settings that don't train on your data, and check their terms with you before any customer information is involved.

Do you work with our core provider's tools?

We work through the integrations and exports your core already offers. If your provider or another vendor already does the job, the Assessment says so.

Who keeps our AI policy current?

Your team owns it, with a named owner for each part. If you want a senior advisor to keep it current as tools and guidance change, that's what our Fractional AI Advisor retainer is for.
